ImportAI Terms of Service

1. About these Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of ImportAI, an AI-assisted cross-border shopping service. By using ImportAI, creating an account, or approving a purchase, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

ImportAI is a product operated by SecureGlobal Technology under the SecureGlobal Labs product studio. In these Terms, “ImportAI”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to that service and its operator. “You” and “Customer” refer to the person using the service.

These Terms are to be read together with our Refund & Cancellation Policy and our Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility

You may use ImportAI only if you are able to enter into a binding contract for the services offered, and only in compliance with these Terms and applicable law. If you are using ImportAI on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization. If you are below the age at which you can enter into a binding contract in your location, you may use ImportAI only with the involvement and authorization of a parent or legal guardian, and only where permitted by applicable law.

3. What ImportAI does

ImportAI helps you discover and purchase physical products that are available through third-party marketplaces and procurement and fulfilment providers. ImportAI uses software and AI-assisted processing to understand your request, search supported marketplaces, normalize and compare results, and prepare recommendations and purchase approvals for your review.

ImportAI is the customer-facing service. You do not need an individual Taobao, 1688 or similar account for ImportAI to perform supported procurement on your behalf. ImportAI may use third-party marketplaces, sellers, warehouses, procurement agents, payment processors, logistics providers and last-mile carriers to fulfil a transaction.

ImportAI does not manufacture third-party products and does not control third-party sellers or their listings. Product descriptions, images and availability originate, in whole or in part, from third-party sources.

4. Search results, recommendations and availability

Search results, comparisons and recommendations are generated from the information available at the time and are provided to help you make a decision. They are not a guarantee that a product can ultimately be procured, or that a product is suitable for your intended use.

Third-party marketplace information can change, including availability, price, variants, seller availability, domestic shipping charges, quantity requirements and marketplace restrictions. ImportAI may refresh or revalidate product information before submitting a procurement order. Where a selected item can no longer be procured, ImportAI will not substitute a different item without your approval.

5. Pricing, estimates and landed cost

Before you approve a purchase, ImportAI presents an estimated cost that may include components such as the merchandise or product cost, domestic marketplace shipping, an estimated international shipping amount, applicable warehouse or fulfilment services, the ImportAI service fee, and a cost contingency. The applicable figures are disclosed to you during the transaction.

Some components are estimates until the relevant steps are completed. International shipping in particular may not be final until the goods reach the relevant warehouse and the actual parcel weight, dimensions, product classification, destination and available shipping routes are known. As a result, the amount shown before procurement is an estimate of the expected landed cost and not a fixed final price.

6. ImportAI service fee

ImportAI charges a service fee for the procurement and coordination services it provides. The applicable fee is disclosed to you as part of the transaction before you approve and pay, and may vary with the value and composition of the order. You are not charged a service fee that was not disclosed during the transaction.

7. Cost contingency and reconciliation

ImportAI includes a cost contingency in the amount charged today to absorb differences between estimated and actual costs associated with procurement and fulfilment, so that in many cases you need only pay once. The cost contingency is not an additional service fee or ImportAI revenue.

Once applicable costs are finalized, any unused amount will be reconciled and, where a refund is due, returned through the applicable payment method or payment provider, in accordance with our Refund & Cancellation Policy. Where the final cost exceeds the amount paid, ImportAI will present the additional amount and ask for your approval before charging anything further.

8. Your approval

ImportAI presents a purchase approval that summarizes the items and quantities you have selected, the applicable price and estimate information, the amount to be charged, and the relevant fulfilment information. You are responsible for reviewing the approval carefully before confirming it. Approving a purchase authorizes ImportAI to proceed with payment collection and, following successful payment, to submit procurement orders for the items you approved.

Approvals may expire or require revalidation, and ImportAI may need to refresh product information before procurement. You will not be charged a different amount than the one you approved without your further approval, except as described in these Terms and the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

9. Payment

Payments may be processed by third-party payment service providers. ImportAI does not store your full card number; card and payment credentials are handled by the applicable payment provider. The amount collected is the amount shown to you at approval.

A payment confirms that funds have been collected. It does not, by itself, guarantee that a third-party seller will successfully fulfil the order.

10. Procurement

After payment is confirmed, ImportAI may submit procurement orders to supported marketplaces or procurement providers. Payment, the initiation of procurement, and successful procurement are distinct steps.

Third-party sellers may reject, cancel or fail to fulfil an order, may become unavailable, may change stock, or may issue refunds, and may partially fulfil an order where applicable. Where a procurement step cannot be completed, ImportAI handles the outcome in accordance with our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

11. Partial fulfilment

Where a purchase includes multiple items and part of the order cannot be procured, ImportAI follows the partial-fulfilment treatment associated with your approval. Unless your approval provides otherwise, ImportAI pauses the affected purchase rather than substituting items, and the applicable refund or continuation is handled under the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

12. International shipping

ImportAI arranges international shipping for approved purchases. International route availability can depend on the destination country, region or state, city, postcode, product type, parcel weight and dimensions, the logistics provider, and the routes available at the relevant time.

Where available, ImportAI prefers suitable door-to-door routes. However, some destinations or routes may require collection, pickup or alternative last-mile arrangements. The exact international route may only be determinable after warehouse processing.

13. Delivery estimates

Delivery dates and times are estimates unless a specific delivery commitment is expressly provided by the selected carrier. Delivery may be affected by factors including seller dispatch, domestic shipping, warehouse processing, consolidation, customs, international transportation, local carrier handling, weather, regulatory inspection, and destination-country conditions.

14. Customs, duties and taxes

Customs treatment depends on the selected logistics route. Some routes may support duties and taxes being included or prepaid, while other routes may require the recipient to pay duties and taxes at destination. The applicable treatment will be disclosed where the relevant information is available. You may be responsible for destination-country charges where they are not included or prepaid.

Nothing in this section limits any rights you may have under mandatory consumer law.

15. Delivery address

You are responsible for providing accurate and complete delivery information, including the recipient name, phone number, country, state or province, city, postcode where applicable, street address, and any other information a carrier may require. Incorrect or incomplete information can delay or prevent delivery and may result in additional costs. ImportAI will not disclaim responsibility for addressing errors that it caused.

16. Tracking

Tracking availability and detail can depend on the marketplace seller, the domestic carrier, the fulfilment provider, the international carrier, and the local last-mile provider. ImportAI does not guarantee continuous real-time tracking at every stage.

17. Product quality and third-party goods

ImportAI facilitates the procurement of third-party products. Product descriptions, images and specifications originate partly from sellers and marketplaces, and factors such as colour, packaging and minor presentation can differ from the listing. ImportAI does not manufacture third-party products. Your applicable consumer rights remain unaffected.

18. Restricted and prohibited items

You may not use ImportAI to purchase or attempt to purchase items that are illegal, prohibited for import or export, or otherwise restricted. Without limiting that, ImportAI may refuse or cancel a transaction involving, for example:

• goods that are illegal in the origin or destination jurisdiction;
• prohibited imports or exports;
• weapons and controlled items;
• controlled substances;
• counterfeit or infringing goods;
• sanctioned or restricted goods;
• hazardous or dangerous materials;
• goods prohibited by the rules of an applicable marketplace, logistics provider or payment provider.

This list is not exhaustive. ImportAI may take reasonable steps to identify and refuse such transactions.

19. Cancellations and refunds

Cancellation and refund outcomes depend on the stage of the transaction. These are described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

20. Chargebacks and payment disputes

If you have a problem with a transaction, please contact us first at hello@securegloballabs.com so that we can try to resolve it. Nothing in these Terms prevents you from exercising any lawful right you may have to raise a payment dispute or chargeback with your payment provider. Where a dispute appears fraudulent or abusive, ImportAI may investigate and may provide relevant transaction, procurement and delivery records to the applicable payment provider.

21. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse ImportAI, including by attempting to access it in an unauthorized manner, interfering with its operation, using it to violate applicable law, or providing false information.

22. Intellectual property

ImportAI and its branding, software and content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Third-party product names, images and marks belong to their respective owners and are used to identify the products being sourced.

23. Disclaimers

ImportAI provides its services with reasonable skill and care. Except as expressly stated in these Terms or required by applicable law, the service is provided without additional warranties, and ImportAI does not warrant that every search, recommendation, estimate or third-party listing is complete or error-free. AI-assisted outputs can contain errors, and you should review product and order information before approving a purchase.

24. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, ImportAI is not liable for the acts or omissions of third-party sellers, marketplaces, procurement providers, logistics providers, carriers or payment providers. To the extent permitted by applicable law, ImportAI’s aggregate liability arising out of or relating to a transaction is limited to the amount you paid to ImportAI for that transaction.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud, gross negligence, or any mandatory statutory or consumer-protection obligation.

25. Consumer rights

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any right or remedy you have under applicable consumer law that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified. Where any provision of these Terms conflicts with such a right, that right prevails to the extent of the conflict.

26. Governing law

These Terms are subject to applicable law. Nothing in these Terms affects any mandatory rights, remedies or forum protections available to you under applicable law.

27. Changes to these Terms

ImportAI may update these Terms from time to time. Where changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice and update the “Last updated” date above. Changes will not retroactively rewrite already-completed transactions in a way that would violate applicable law.
